StatusCake Pricing and What Every Plan Costs Per Monitor With SMS Credits and Status Pages
StatusCake is $24.49 a month for 100 monitors (Superior) and $79.99 for 300 (Business), or $20.41 and $66.66 billed yearly. The full plan table, cost per monitor, the separate status page plans, how SMS credits and phone calls behave, and the 70 day cancellation notice.
By TrackDowntime
Put an endpoint under monitoring
Email, Slack and webhook alerts on every plan, phone call and SMS from Professional. Plans from $49 a month.
StatusCake pricing has three published tiers. Free is $0 for 10 uptime monitors at 5 minute checks. Superior is $24.49 a month, or $20.41 a month billed yearly, for 100 monitors at 1 minute checks with 75 SMS credits. Business is $79.99 a month, or $66.66 billed yearly, for 300 monitors at 30 second checks with 400 SMS credits and 9 team members. Enterprise is a custom quote. Status pages are a separate subscription from $12.46 a month.
Per monitor that makes StatusCake one of the cheapest commercial tools on the market, at roughly 20 to 27 cents a month. The parts of the bill that deserve a closer look before you sign are the ones outside the headline: the separate status page plans, how SMS and phone call alerts behave, and a renewal clause that asks for 70 days notice. All figures below were read from StatusCake's own pricing page, status page pricing and knowledge base in September 2026.
How much does StatusCake cost per month?
| StatusCake plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing, per month | Yearly total | Uptime monitors | Check interval | SMS credits a month | Team members |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | 10 | 5 minutes | None | Not listed |
| Superior | $24.49 | $20.41 | $244.92 | 100 | 1 minute | 75 | 1 |
| Business | $79.99 | $66.66 | $799.92 | 300 | 30 seconds | 400 | 9 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Yearly billing takes about 17 percent off, the familiar two months free. Every paid plan starts with a 7 day trial and no card is asked for. Beyond uptime checks each tier bundles other monitor types, which is a large part of what you are paying for.
| Included monitors | Free | Superior | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Page speed monitors | 1, every 24 hours | 15, every 15 minutes | 30, every 5 minutes |
| Domain monitors | 1 | 50 | 120 |
| SSL monitors | 1, every 24 hours | 50, every 30 minutes | 100, every 10 minutes |
| Server monitors | None | 3 | 10 |
If you need page speed, domain expiry and server resource checks next to uptime, Superior at about $20 a month is hard to beat. We sell none of those three, so there is no comparison to make on that front.
What does StatusCake cost per monitor?
Divide the plan price by the uptime monitors it includes and the numbers are small.
| Plan | Monitors | Monthly price per monitor | Yearly price per monitor, per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Superior | 100 | $0.24 | $0.20 |
| Business | 300 | $0.27 | $0.22 |
Two things follow. The price per monitor does not fall as you move up, it rises slightly, because Business adds the faster interval, the larger SMS allowance and the team seats. And there is no published step between 100 and 300 monitors, or above 300. An account with 110 URLs pays for Business, and an account with 320 has to ask for an Enterprise quote.
Are StatusCake status pages included in the plan?
No. Status pages are sold as their own product with their own three tiers, on top of whichever monitoring plan you hold.
| Status page plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing, per month | Pages | Subscribers | Services and metrics |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $14.95 | $12.46 | 1 | 300 | 10 |
| Silver | $49.95 | $41.63 | 5 | 1,500 | 50 |
| Gold | $249.96 | $208.29 | 10 | 7,000 | 100 |
An agency that wants Business monitoring plus five client facing status pages is therefore paying $79.99 plus $49.95, so $129.94 a month on monthly billing, or $108.29 a month on yearly. That is still a fair price. It is just not the $79.99 on the first table.
How StatusCake bills SMS and phone call alerts
Texts run on credits. One SMS alert uses one credit, Superior includes 75 a month, Business includes 400, and you can buy more inside the app when they run out. The free plan lists no SMS credits and alerts through email and integrations.
For a team of three on Superior, each down event costs three credits, so the allowance covers 25 incidents a month. For most small estates that is enough, and it is a more generous arrangement than tools that hand out a one-time credit balance.
The detail that matters more than the count is the behavior. StatusCake's knowledge base states that email and mobile push alerts repeat while a test stays down, and SMS alerts do not. Phone call alerts exist as an integration attached to a contact group, and the same knowledge base says repeats do not apply to calls, with at most one call per five minutes per account. So the text and the call are each a single attempt. If the phone is face down on a charger when it arrives, nothing rings a second time.
That is a design choice, made to stop a wide outage from producing a flood of calls, and plenty of teams are fine with it. If yours is not, the usual fix is a paging tool in front of StatusCake, which is a second subscription. The other fix is a monitor whose phone call downtime alerts repeat by themselves.
The renewal terms worth reading before you pay yearly
Three contract points sit in the pricing FAQ rather than on the plan cards.
- Every subscription renews automatically. StatusCake points to clause 8 of its terms, which asks you to cancel at least 70 days before the renewal date. On a yearly plan that means deciding in month nine or ten, not the week before.
- Payment by invoice starts at Business yearly. Superior, on either billing period, and Business monthly are card only. Invoices are due in 30 days and can be issued in USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, NZD, SGD or CAD.
- Invoice customers do not get the two months free. StatusCake says the cost of handling invoices rules out coupons and the yearly discount, and offers multi-year terms instead: 12.5 percent off for two years, 25 percent for three and 40 percent for five, paid in full up front.
If your finance team insists on purchase orders and invoices for every vendor, that last rule changes the math, and it is the kind of vendor term that accounts payable software is meant to catch before a renewal goes through at the wrong rate. A five year prepayment for a monitoring tool is a long commitment in a market where prices and products change every year.
What StatusCake costs at 5, 25, 100, 300 and 650 monitors
Here is the monthly bill at five sizes, next to our own plans so you can see where each one makes sense. Yearly billing is shown as a monthly equivalent.
| Endpoints | StatusCake plan | StatusCake monthly | StatusCake yearly | TrackDowntime monthly | TrackDowntime yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Free | $0 | $0 | $49 (Starter) | $24 |
| 25 | Superior | $24.49 | $20.41 | $99 (Professional) | $49 |
| 100 | Superior | $24.49 | $20.41 | $299 (Enterprise) | $149 |
| 300 | Business | $79.99 | $66.66 | $299 (Enterprise) | $149 |
| 650 | Enterprise | Quote | Quote | $299 (Enterprise) | $149 |
StatusCake is cheaper at every size that has a published price, by a wide margin, and we would rather say so than have you find out after signing up. If the job is to watch a lot of URLs and send an email or a chat message when one fails, buy StatusCake.
There are two situations where the table is not the whole story.
Above 300 monitors. StatusCake stops publishing prices and you negotiate. Our Enterprise plan is a public flat price, $299 a month or $149 billed yearly, for unlimited endpoints. If you run 650 client or tenant URLs and want a number today, that is one.
When the outage has to wake someone. On our Professional and Enterprise plans every phone number on the endpoint gets a call, a text and an email at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes, then at 2, 4, 8, 24, 48 and 96 hours until the check passes. None of it is metered. The extra $75 to $275 a month over StatusCake is what a built-in pager costs, and the fair comparison is StatusCake plus whatever on-call tool you would add to get repeated calls. The full side by side is on our StatusCake alternative page. If you are choosing between StatusCake and Pingdom, our Pingdom vs StatusCake comparison prices both from 10 to 750 monitors.
Which StatusCake plan should you pick?
Free suits a personal project or a test. Ten monitors at 5 minute checks with alerts through email and integrations, and no SMS.
Superior is the right plan for a single business or a small agency with up to 100 URLs. One minute checks, 75 texts a month and one team member. The single seat is the limit you will hit first: a second person who needs to log in pushes you to Business.
Business fits a team. Nine seats, 300 monitors, 30 second checks, 400 texts and an audit log. It is also the first tier where you can pay by invoice, on the yearly term only.
Enterprise is for more than 300 monitors, dedicated test locations or an SLA with service credits. Budget for a sales conversation.
If you are comparing several vendors at once, our uptime monitoring pricing comparison puts ten of them in one table with the way each bills alerts, and our own plans and limits are on the pricing page.

Does StatusCake charge for status pages?
Yes. Status pages are a separate subscription: Bronze at $14.95 a month ($12.46 yearly) for 1 page and 300 subscribers, Silver at $49.95 ($41.63) for 5 pages and 1,500 subscribers, and Gold at $249.96 ($208.29) for 10 pages and 7,000 subscribers.
How do I cancel a StatusCake subscription?
All StatusCake subscriptions renew automatically. Its pricing FAQ refers to clause 8 of the terms and conditions, which asks for cancellation at least 70 days before the renewal date. On a yearly plan, set a reminder about three months before the anniversary so the notice window is not missed.
Does StatusCake include phone call alerts?
StatusCake supports phone call alerts as an integration on a contact group. Its knowledge base says repeat alerts do not apply to calls and that one call per five minutes is sent per account. SMS alerts do not repeat either, while email and push do. Each call or text is one attempt.
Is StatusCake cheaper than TrackDowntime?
Yes, at every published size. Superior gives 100 monitors for $24.49 a month against $99 for 25 endpoints on our Professional plan. We cost more because calls and texts to every on-call number repeat until recovery and are never metered, and because Enterprise is a flat $299 for unlimited endpoints.
