UptimeRobot pricing starts with a Free plan of 50 monitors at 5 minute checks, then three paid plans priced in euros: Solo from 10 euros a month (9 billed yearly) for 10 monitors at 60 second checks, Team at 41 euros (35 yearly) for 100 monitors, 30 second checks and 3 seats, and Scale from 77 euros (65 yearly) for 200 monitors at 15 seconds. Enterprise above 500 monitors is quoted. Text and voice alerts are paid with one time credits on top.

That makes UptimeRobot one of the cheapest uptime monitors per monitor at almost every size. The figures below come from UptimeRobot's own pricing page and its machine readable pricing file, read on October 6, 2026, including the two tiers most summaries leave out: Solo with 50 monitors and Scale with 500.

How much does UptimeRobot cost per month?

UptimeRobot sells five plans. Solo and Scale each come in two monitor tiers, and annual billing saves about 15 percent on Team and Scale and 10 to 14 percent on Solo.

Plan Monitors Check interval Monthly Billed yearly, per month Yearly total
Free 50 5 minutes 0 0 0
Solo 10 60 seconds 10 euros 9 euros 108 euros
Solo 50 60 seconds 22 euros 19 euros 228 euros
Team 100 30 seconds 41 euros 35 euros 420 euros
Scale 200 15 seconds 77 euros 65 euros 780 euros
Scale 500 15 seconds 179 euros 149 euros 1,788 euros
Enterprise 500 and up 15 seconds or custom Quote Quote Quote

UptimeRobot states that these plan prices are the amounts it serves to euro region visitors, while its SMS and voice credit packs are listed in US dollars. If you pay with a US card, check the currency at checkout and expect your bank to show a foreign currency line that moves a little each month with the exchange rate. Finance teams that match every card charge to the books will want to know that before the first invoice arrives.

What does each UptimeRobot plan include?

The jump from Free to Solo is mostly about speed and monitor types. The jump from Solo to Team is about people.

Feature Free Solo Team Scale
API, heartbeat, DNS, SSL and domain expiry, multi location checks No Yes Yes Yes
Integrations 5 9, adds Slack and Teams 12, adds webhook, Zapier, PagerDuty 12
Status pages 1 basic 3 100, white label Unlimited
Login seats included None None 3 5
Notify seats included None Paid add-on 3 5
SMS and voice credits included 0 10 to 20 30 50 to 200
Data retention 3 months 12 months 24 months 24 months
Recurring notifications No Yes Yes Yes
Incident comments and root cause No No Yes Yes

Two rows in that table decide more purchases than the price does. Solo has no login seats at all, so a second person who needs to see the dashboard pushes you to Team. And recurring notifications, the setting that repeats an alert every few minutes while a site stays down, are not on Free. On the Free plan you get one alert per outage.

What do extra seats and SMS credits add to the bill?

Extra login seats on Team and Scale cost $15 a month per seat billed yearly, or $19 monthly. Notify seats, for people who only receive alerts, are sold separately at checkout.

Texts and voice calls run on credits that are bought once and do not renew with the plan:

Credit pack Price Cost per credit
10 credits $3.00 30 cents
100 credits $15.00 15 cents
200 credits $25.00 12.5 cents
500 credits $55.00 11 cents
1,000 credits $100.00 10 cents

A text to a US number uses 1 credit. A voice call uses 2 credits in every country. A text to Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, New Zealand and 28 other countries uses 2, and Russia uses 5. Even the confirmation text sent when you add or change a phone contact uses a credit.

Here is what that means for a real team. Say three people get a voice call every 10 minutes during a two hour outage. That is 12 calls each, 36 calls, 72 credits, about $9 to $11 depending on the pack. Two outages like that in a month is roughly $20 of credits. For most small teams that is affordable. The risk is not the price, it is the balance hitting zero at the wrong moment: credits do not refill with the plan, and UptimeRobot's help center says auto refill turns itself off without a notification when a card payment is declined. Our UptimeRobot SMS credits guide walks through that in detail.

What does UptimeRobot cost at 10, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 650 monitors?

Monitor counts are where UptimeRobot is strongest. This table uses the smallest plan that fits each size and compares it with TrackDowntime's plans.

Monitors UptimeRobot plan UptimeRobot monthly Per monitor TrackDowntime plan TrackDowntime monthly
10 Solo 10 10 euros 1.00 euro Professional $99 ($49 yearly)
25 Solo 50 22 euros 0.88 euro Professional $99 ($49 yearly)
50 Solo 50 22 euros 0.44 euro Enterprise $299 ($149 yearly)
100 Team 41 euros 0.41 euro Enterprise $299 ($149 yearly)
200 Scale 200 77 euros 0.39 euro Enterprise $299 ($149 yearly)
500 Scale 500 179 euros 0.36 euro Enterprise $299 ($149 yearly)
650 Enterprise Quote only Quote Enterprise $299 ($149 yearly)

Read plainly: UptimeRobot is cheaper than us at every size up to 500 monitors, often by a wide margin. At 100 monitors it is 41 euros against $299. If price per monitor is what you are buying, UptimeRobot is the better deal and we would tell you so.

The comparison only turns at two points. Above 500 monitors UptimeRobot stops publishing prices and moves you to a sales call, while our Enterprise plan stays $299 for unlimited endpoints. And if you add up calls to several people on a busy month, the credits close some of the gap, though rarely all of it.

Is the UptimeRobot free plan enough for a business?

For a side project, usually yes. For a business site, usually not. UptimeRobot's own pricing page describes the Free plan as good for hobby and non-profit projects, and the limits match that: checks every 5 minutes, no SSL or domain expiry alerts, no Slack or webhook integrations, no recurring notifications, no SMS or voice credits included, and monthly email reports only for the first three months.

A 5 minute interval means an outage can run up to 5 minutes before anyone is told, and a single alert email is easy to miss at night. Most businesses that start on Free move to Solo within a few months for the 60 second checks and SSL alerts, which costs 9 to 10 euros a month and is good value.

When is TrackDowntime the better buy than UptimeRobot?

We are more expensive per monitor, so the case has to be about something other than price per URL. It comes down to three situations.

  • Several people must be phoned until the site is back. Every number on a TrackDowntime endpoint gets a call and a text on each of 15 alert rounds, from minute 0 to day 4, and nothing is counted. No credit balance to watch and no auto refill to fail.
  • You run more than 500 endpoints. Enterprise is $299 a month, or $149 billed yearly, for unlimited endpoints, with no quote and no sales call.
  • You need the outage record kept. Each incident is stored with start, end and measured duration, 90 days on Professional and with no limit on Enterprise, and exports to CSV for SLA reports.

What you give up is real too: we have no free plan, no status pages, no keyword checks, checks from a single location, and one login per account. If any of those matter more than calls, stay on UptimeRobot. If calls matter most, our UptimeRobot alternative page shows the full side by side, and the website monitoring SMS alerts page explains how the texts and calls repeat.

Which UptimeRobot plan should I choose?

  • Free if it is a personal or non-profit project and a 5 minute delay is acceptable.
  • Solo 10 or Solo 50 if one person runs everything, wants 60 second checks and SSL alerts, and rarely needs a text.
  • Team if two or three people need dashboard access, you want webhook or PagerDuty alerts, or you publish status pages for customers.
  • Scale if you run 200 to 500 monitors or need 15 second checks.
  • Enterprise above 500 monitors, or when procurement asks for an SLA, a security review and invoicing by purchase order.
